Tennessee pair wins top prize in Air Race Classic

FRYEBURG — Although beset with weather challenges that reduced the race from nine legs to just three, the 42nd annual Air Race Classic held June 19-22 was deemed a success by competitors and organizers.
The race began in Sweetwater, Texas, on Tuesday and ended at the 5 p.m. cutoff at Fryeburg's Eastern Slope Regional Airport last Friday.
