Intercollegiate

The Air Race Classic makes a special effort to include collegiate women in the race. The chance to learn from the collective wisdom of other women racers is an invaluable experience.

To expand the collegiate presence, the Air Race Classic established the Intercollegiate Class. Awards will be given in a similar manner as those in the Competition Class. In addition, the ARC Collegiate Coordinator works to encourage universities to grant college credit for race participation. Purdue University and Lewis University have granted college credit in the past.

To be eligible for the Intercollegiate Class, all members of an Intercollegiate team must be closely affiliated with the college or university that they represent (student, faculty, flight instructor, etc.). At the time of submitting the Team registration, the Team pilot must be a registered undergraduate student at the college or university. The Team must be registered in the Intercollegiate Class or Non-Competition Class.

To learn more about how to enter as an Intercollegiate team contact the ARC Collegiate Coordinator.
