This year's Air Race Classic will take place from June 19 to 22. Will you be part of it? There are so many ways to get involved!
Be a Racer
All female flyers who hold at least a Private pilot certificate and have at least 100 hours of PIC time are eligible to compete as a pilot or copilot. Student pilots can join as the third member of an ARC team. Registration opens at noon Eastern Time on January 2, 2018. For more information: https://www.airraceclassic.org
Be a Volunteer
The 2018 race begins in Sweetwater, Texas, and ends in Fryeburg, Maine, with stops in between at Alva, Oklahoma; Beatrice, Nebraska; Faribault, Minnesota; Galesburg, Illinois; Auburn, Indiana; Cadillac, Michigan; Newark, Ohio; and Penn Yan, New York. Volunteers are needed at every airport along the way: to greet the racers, time flybys, and provide transportation. We also need handicap pilots before the race and volunteers to help out behind on the scenes on the administrative side. For more information: https://www.airraceclassic.
Be a Sponsor
The ARC has many ways for sponsors to support women's aviation — and get some great publicity while doing it! Sponsorship opportunities include the ARC website, official race program, and silent auction. For more information: https://www.airraceclassic.
Or, buy a raffle ticket for the 2018 race! This year's prizes: 1 racer registration, 2 VIP Red Bull Race Tickets, or $500. Tickets are $5/each, 5/$20 or 15/$50. The winner will be announced January 2, 2018. For tickets: https://www.airraceclassic.org
WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!
